Bob Palermo has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with expertise in the areas of leadership, business and cultural transformation, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, process management, lean management, operational excellence, IT/IS strategy, data management, organizational design, management systems, and enterprise risk management including cybersecurity.
His last role working for Shell Oil was as Vice President of Performance Excellence/Enterprise Architecture. The organization had overall responsibility for the business transformation to Shell’s Global Unconventionals Operating Model.
Prior to that role, Bob was Vice President of the Center for Excellence at Aera Energy (a Shell/ExxonMobil Joint Venture), where he was responsible for Aera’s System of Operational Excellence. His industry experience includes numerous engineering and operations assignments in both staff and management positions
Bob holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Southern California, respectively.
