Hani has over 30 years of experience in petrophysical operations, business and technology management, and deployment. He spent 18 years at Shell as the digitalization lead for Deepwater technologies, technology advisor, part of the GameChanger program, and manager of Shell’s Fluid Evaluation and Sampling Technologies global center of excellence.
Prior to Shell, Hani spent 15 years with Schlumberger in various positions across Africa, Asia, North America, working in management, operations, marketing, consulting, technology, and product development. He is a globally renowned authority in formation testing and fluid sampling with over 150 technical publications, several patents, and numerous industry awards. His expertise covers petrophysics, cement and corrosion evaluation, production and reservoir saturation logging, well testing, pressure transient analysis, and production enhancement.
He currently works with innovators, academics, startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and customers helping them create impact through innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation.
