John has over 33 years of experience in the global energy sector. With over twenty years of consulting experience, John was a senior partner and partner in Bain and Company's global O&G consulting team for 14 years in Houston, London, Singapore, and Sydney. Prior to that, he was with Booz Allen Hamilton and Arthur D Little's global energy consulting practices in London. He has led multiple strategy, business transformation, merger integration, and operational performance improvement/excellence projects with a particular focus on E&P, LNG, gas, and midstream. John has extensive experience of working with (and coaching) executive teams and broader organizations on change management and improving team performance.
Before he became a consultant, John worked for Shell for 10 years in the UK North Sea and Oman. He had roles in field development planning, production operations, major project execution, and business planning.
John has a B.Sc in Engineering Science & Management from the University of Durham in the UK.
